Lieven Lauwaert

Lieven Lauwaert works as Principal Consultant at Triple A – Risk Finance Belgium where he is responsible for the Non-Life business unit. Lieven has an international actuarial background and is educated as a mathematician at Ghent University. He started his career as Insurance risk advisor at KBC where he developed the group-wide internal model for the P&C risks. Subsequently he worked for Ageas as Non-Life risk manager for the business unit Continental Europe on multiple reserving projects. Prior to joining Triple A Netherlands in 2018, Lieven worked three years as Lead consultant at Quantium in Australia, managing capital modelling projects for P&C insurers in Australia. In 2019 he founded the Belgian branch of Triple A whilst remaining responsible to manage non-life projects, amongst others the model development for a large P&C insurer in the Netherlands as part of an IMAP process.
