Janis Lemahieu

Janis holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Engineering from KU Leuven, in addition to a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology. His thesis focused on pricing and calibrating zero-day-to-expiry options. Janis gained actuarial experience during an internship at PwC in Brussels, where he worked on both life and non-life insurance projects. He also interned at InvestSuite, a B2B fintech company specializing in InvestTech, where he developed an automated Python tool to provide clients with historical insights into their investment portfolio performance. During his studies, Janis was one of the founders of the student fund Captiv Investing, where he held multiple board positions. Janis joined Triple A – Risk Finance Belgium in September 2024.
